Our client is a small, growing public accounting firm based in Cochrane, AB, providing full-service accounting support to small businesses and individuals across Alberta. The team is known for its accuracy, professionalism, and supportive, collaborative work environment.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Administrative Assistant to join the team on a part-time, contract basis from January to May, with the potential to transition into a permanent part-time role. This position is ideal for someone who brings a strong work ethic, humility, and integrity to their work.

Working closely with the Office Manager, you will play a key role in keeping the office organized, supporting the accounting team, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations during a busy season. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a professional services environment and contribute meaningfully to a tight-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

Scan, organize, and file client documents.

  • Draft and prepare engagement letters and other client correspondence.
  • Copy, print, and manage office documents as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and interact professionally with clients.
  • Assist with data entry and maintaining client records.
