Position: Pressure Equipment Manager/Chief Inspector (Permanent)

Location: Calgary, AB (Negotiable)

 

Position Overview:

This position is a leadership position required to manage and grow Group 10 Engineering’s Pressure Equipment Services Division.  The role requires a blend of field and office work. The primary competencies required are pressure equipment integrity experience with comprehensive regulatory knowledge and required certifications to act as Chief Inspector for Group 10 clients in All Western Canadian Jurisdictions.  The ideal candidate will have experience and advanced understanding of asset integrity management, and overall energy industry risk management. The ideal candidate must have leadership skills, excellent communication skills and be able to interface directly with clients with a goal of maintaining and growing client relationships while delivering advanced technical solutions. The work location is negotiable and the successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team of materials and corrosion experts. 

 

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain our clients pressure equipment integrity and inspection programs
  • Interpret and communicate regulatory requirements
  • Maintain PEIMS program for clients
  • Coordinate inspections and turnaround activities
  • Support repair requirements for pressure equipment
  • Develop manuals, and procedures to support asset integrity programs
  • Interface with field and office personnel regarding compliance requirements
  • Project manage implementation of pressure equipment, piping, and pipeline inspection programs
  • Perform field audits and equipment assessments
  • Develop vessel, piping, and tank inspection programs
  • Inspect pipelines, tanks and pressure equipment within your competencies and the regulatory guidelines

Education / Experience:

  • Professional Engineer or Technologist and Member of APEGA and or ASET is preferred however experience is key and all education levels will be considered
  • Experience working in Oil & Gas or Chemical Processing operating environment 
  • Asset Integrity and or Corrosion and materials experience is preferred
  • Min 10 years related experience preferably working as a Chief Inspector  (Flexible depending on candidate)
  • Certifications include IPVI or IBPVI and TSASK preferred
