Location: Calgary, AB (Remote, Work from Home)
Contract: Independent Contractor, 6 months (with the possibility of extension)
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to support our clients’ hiring needs on a contract basis. In this role, you will recruit for a wide range of non-technical and specialized positions, leveraging your business development and relationship-building skills to engage top talent. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in sourcing talent, managing the full recruitment process, and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, priorities, and team needs.
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify top talent.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate outreach, screening, interviews, and offer coordination.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates across multiple disciplines.
- Provide market insights and recommendations to support hiring decisions.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through professional and timely communication.
- Track and report on recruitment activity and metrics.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of recruitment experience, with a strong focus on technical and specialized positions.
- Proven success in managing high-volume, multi-discipline recruitment projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced sourcing techniques and use of modern recruitment tools/platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence at all levels.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
Contract Details:
- Must be set up as an independent contractor.
- Remote, Work from Home. Must be located in Canada.
- Initial contract term: 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
- Immediate start.
